The Inspirational Story of a King: Leadership, Planning, and Success | Tamil Story

Description: Discover the tale of a king who turned a life-threatening challenge into a triumph of leadership, planning, and hard work. A story about transforming fear into opportunity and achieving greatness.

There was a law in a city. According to it, anyone who wanted to could become king of that city. But that position was only for five years. The next day after the five years, the king would be released into the forest on the other side of the river. There were no humans in that forest. Only fierce animals. If the king entered the forest, the wild animals would kill him. No one could change this law. Only those who agreed to these conditions were suitable to sit on the throne. The title of the one who was crowned king was mandatory death after five years. Since no one wanted the position due to this strict law, the throne was often empty. However, a few people would take an oath that they would die anyway, saying that they would die as king. Moreover, half of the kings died of heart attacks in the middle. Thus, a king's five-year reign ended. On that day, he had to cross the river bank and go to the forest. The whole country had gathered to see him off. The king arrived, wearing his finest clothes and jewels, crowned with a crown and riding a golden sword, and stood before the people. The people gasped, "Is this all this decoration for him, he will die in half an hour?" He looked at the boat he was going to go on and said angrily. "This is the boat the king is going on, bring the big boat. If I am going standing, bring the throne." Orders flew and things happened. In a short time, the beautifully decorated boat tore through the river water and traveled towards the other bank. The people stood stunned. The king waved and continued his journey. The boatman was the most shocked. Because no king he had taken to the other bank had ever gone happily. They would have gone crying, lamenting and bewildered. But this one was overflowing with joy and happiness. The boatman could not bear it and asked, "King, do you know where you are going?" I know, I am going to the other bank. Do you know that those who went there have never returned to this city? I know. I am not going to come back to this city. How can you be so happy after that? Do you know what I did? At the end of one year of coming to power, I sent a thousand hunters to the forest and they hunted and killed the fierce animals. At the end of the second year, a thousand farmers went and cleared the forest and today there is plenty of grain and vegetables. At the end of the third year, a thousand architects and workers went. Today, everything from the palace to the roads is ready. At the end of the fourth year, a thousand government officials went. The administration was restored. All these 4000 people went with their wives and children and live there. Now I am not going to the forest, I am going to my country I am not going to die, I am going to live and that too I am going to rule as a king. If you want a job as a palace boatman, join this boatman like this, said the king. Let me take just one question. What are the reasons for the king's success? Although there are many reasons, I can mention two in particular. One decided to live five years later and live as a king. Two worked hard to achieve that decision. Not only for the success of that king but for all of us to succeed. All we need to do is set a goal, plan for it, plan for it, and then work hard and smartly until we succeed. If a person has the ability to think and plan, he can achieve anything.
