Who is the wise disciple Story Line
A sage had two disciples. Both are strong and intelligent.
Once there was a fight between them as to who was the smartest among them.
The matter came to the sage. Disciples to his disciples! Something makes me very hungry today.
Cooking will be delayed. Both of them said come and pick the fruits from that tree.
Those disciples who behaved very submissively towards the Guru ran towards the tree.
Thorns stood around the tree, unable to approach it. The first disciple came back a little.
Then he sprinted forward. He touched the tree in one leap. He picked as many fruits as possible.
Did you come and stand in front of Guru in one step again! He proudly said that I brought it in a moment.
The second brought a scythe. He cut the thorn bushes and made a path. Then some passers-by came tired.
They went along the cut path and picked the fruits and ate them.
They rested under the tree. The disciple also picked the required amount of fruits.
Now the sage told the first disciple that the second disciple is the most intelligent.
The first one got angry. Swami! No contest yet. How did you call him the best by then? He said.
The sage is his disciple! I asked him to pick fruit and it was a kind of competition! You jumped to the tree and plucked the fruit, showing selfishness.
Because you only gave it to me. I was the only one who benefited.
As the second disciple repaired the road, not only I but also the villagers will get fruits for many more days.
He said that he who makes everything available to everyone is the most intelligent. Here is the action. But the difference is in the way it is done.
