A Tale of True Friendship: Overcoming Differences and Standing by Each Other Story Line

Everyone in that Gurukul treated each other with great respect and love.

Two of them were inseparable friends.

If one of them suffered, the other would feel sorry for himself and think that the suffering had come upon him.

To that extent, both of them would share equally in the joys and sorrows.

One day, the Gurukul education came to an end.

All the students who had learned the teachings of the Guru well started traveling to each town to learn the philosophies of life and ways of life.

The inseparable friends also started their journey together.

They were walking in the desert. In order not to feel the pain of walking in the burning sand, both of them walked while laughing.

During that conversation, their argument was about a specific matter.

That argument turned into an argument and at one point, the two of them had a difference of opinion.

When the difference of opinion turned into a verbal fight between them, one of them slapped the other on the cheek.

Along with the fatigue of walking in the scorching sun, the pain of his dear friend slapping his cheek was also added.

The one who got the slap went to one side without saying anything and sat down. He wrote in the sand with his finger that today my life friend slapped me on the cheek.

The other one did not understand what he had written. Both of them continued their journey without saying anything.

Both of them were thirsty. Since it was a desert, there was no water as far as the eye could see.

But they were lucky

They found a spring on the way.

Forgetting all the problems that had happened, they drank the water from that spring to quench their thirst.

At that moment, it seemed as if someone was pulling the leg of the one who got the slap on the cheek.

Before he could figure out who it was, he had gone into the grave there.

The friend who got the slap on the cheek saved his friend who was stuck in the grave with great difficulty and brought him to the shore.

The friend who got the slap on the cheek went a little distance and sat on the rock there.

He took a stone and started to write something.

This is what he wrote: today my life.
