The Boy the Crocodile and the Rabbit: A Thought-Provoking Fable About Life Story Line

A village A boy is playing on the bank of a lake.

Then a cry comes from the river saying, "Save me, save me." A crocodile, trapped in a net in the river, cries pitifully at the boy. "If I don't let you go, you will swallow me."

The boy refuses to save him. But the crocodile says, "I swear I will not eat you." "Save me," he cries.

Believing the crocodile's words, the boy starts cutting the net.

Before he finishes cutting, it grabs the boy's leg. "Is this fair, you sinful crocodile?" the boy asks tearfully.

What can I do about it? If I get hungry, I will eat ten of them. "This is the world, this is life," the crocodile says, and starts swallowing.

The boy doesn't even care about dying. He could not accept that the crocodile had not only deceived him but also said that this is the world.

He looked at the birds in the tree and asked. Is this the world? The birds say that we lay our eggs so safely at the top of the tree.

But the snakes eat the eggs. That is why they say this is the world. He looked at the donkeys grazing there and asked.

When we were young, they made us carry heavy loads and beat us and made us work as slaves.

When we got old and became weak, they chased us away, saying that they could not feed us, so they said that the crocodile was right.

He asked about the sheep, and they agreed that the crocodile was right because the people who raised us preyed on us and made us prey.

Finally, he looked at a rabbit and asked. This is not the world. When the rabbit said that the crocodile was running away, the crocodile got angry.

Tell the crocodile what you know, little rabbit. The rabbit says, "You don't understand what I'm saying, speak clearly."

The rabbit laughs loudly at the crocodile, who says that if he lets go of his leg, the boy will run away.

You can't hit him with your tail, you can knock him down with one blow, so he lets go of his leg with pride.

The crocodile starts talking about "this is the world." The rabbit looks at the boy and says, "Don't stop, run away." The boy runs away.

The crocodile, who thought he could hit him with his tail, is disappointed. He remembers catching the boy before he could free his tail from the net.

He looks at the rabbit angrily, "This is the world." The rabbit says, "This is life." The boy who ran away is brought to the villagers, and they kill the crocodile.

The pet dog that came with the boy cleverly catches the rabbit. Before the boy can save him, the dog kills the rabbit.

He cannot bear the fact that the rabbit he raised was killed by the dog that saved his life. He throws stones at the dog and chases it away.

The fact that those he helped are in trouble and that he hates those he loves confuses him. Is this the world? Is this life? No one can answer the question.

Life is a series of events that are always changing and contradictory.

The essence of life is not knowing whether the next few seconds will be a shock or a surprise. Life cannot be understood.

It cannot be explained. Life is about accepting what comes next and moving forward, no matter what happens.
